A community based practice nurse is available for a yearly check up for all patients that are house bound.  This includes patients living in a residential home.

The check up will include blood pressure monitoring, bloods, weight and general well being.

The nurse can also give yearly 'flu' vaccinations to those who wish to have it.

If the nurse is concerned a doctor is asked to perform a home visit later that day or within a few days.

We strive to provide a service to vulnerable elderly patients who may be otherwise easily overlooked.
