Doctors are available for home visits.  This service is for emergencies and primarily for those who are unable to make it to the surgery due to their illness.

Being seen in the surgery rather than at home has its advantages as your doctor will have better access to your records, equipment and other services.

If you feel you are unable to make it to the surgery due to ill health and you need a home visit from your GP please call the surgery as early as possible preferably before 11.00 am. The staff will ask you a few basic questions regarding your ailments.

You are not guaranteed to see the doctor you have requested for.

The doctor may telephone you at home at ascertain or clarify your problem further before the visit.

The doctor may ask a district nurse to come and review you at home in the next few days or weeks or may refer you to specialised clinics.

We would preferably like a carer present especially with vulnerable patients.
