Private certificates

The surgery does do some non-NHS work such as providing private medical certificates. There is usually a charge for such services

The surgery does receive payment from the NHS for work done on its behalf such as providing disablility living allowance reports and this will not be charged to the patient.

However some work is not paid for by the NHS and the surgery may have to charge for doing this private work to help balance our budgets. You will not be charged more than the standard BMA recommended rates for such work.

You will be issued with a receipt for any money paid by yourself. Please keep this safe for future reference.
